Natural skin care from the kitchen begins with eating healthy, balanced meals and foods that help your skin, such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and cranberries. These are rich in antioxidants that fight premature aging. Omega 3 fatty acid found in fatty fish is an important natural skin care ingredient, which helps premature skin aging. Keep your skin supple and hydrated by drinking at least eight glasses of water each day. Eating a sensible breakfast is a natural skin care from the kitchen tip that many people forget. Eat healthy foods that are good for your skin and cut down on sugars and carbohydrates. Eating a more natural, healthier diet will help your skin looking younger and healthier.

Here is a good natural skin care from the kitchen recipe that uses only four ingredients but makes a great natural skin care toner. Combine one teaspoon each of dried rosemary and dried thyme, one bay leaf and a cup of white wine and gently boil this mixture for approximately ten minutes. Remove from the heat, cool for an hour, and then drain the mixture, keeping the liquid and discarding the herbs. Put this into a glass jar, which you can keep it in the refrigerator for up to one week. Use this toner first thing in the morning and just before bed on freshly washed skin by applying a little toner to a cotton ball and then dabbing it on your skin. Along with feeling very refreshing, this mixture contains anti-inflammatory properties that keep your skin healthy, but avoid using this on irritated or dry skin.

If you have a problem with dry skin, make a homemade cell renewal mask for natural skin care. From the kitchen, combine one teaspoon of mayonnaise and honey, one egg yolk and one tablespoon of buttermilk. Gently stir these ingredients together being sure not to whip them. Using a cotton ball, apply the mixture to your face. Rinse after twenty or twenty-five minutes using cool water and enjoy the results. This natural skin care from the kitchen mask removes the dead skin cells on your skins top layer making your face look more youthful and younger.

For combination skin, make a natural skin care from the kitchen mask by mixing a teaspoon of lemon juice, a tablespoon of whole-wheat flour, and a cup of mashed seedless grapes into a paste. Apply this paste to your skin and rinse off after approximately fifteen minutes using warm water. The result is a rosier, brighter complexion.
